The Creep's Videos

A lot of people are saying this guy is probably just a "troll" but I'm very concerned about the pass from Bretton Woods. If it's unconnected to Maura's disappearance, why would somebody keep it for 8 years?

Anyway, late last night, this creep took down the videos and closed his YouTube account. Coward.

Thanks to Lance Reenstierna and the fine folks at Lucky Quarter Productions, we have copies.

By the way, the music playing in the background is Chopin's Waltz 3 op.34-2

They're up on my YouTube account and embedded below:

  1. Good for you, James, and kudos to everyone who follows this blog and managed to save screengrabs and downloads. This man needs to be identified and questioned.

  2. THANK YOU!

Just a tip for everyone. You can upload "Get Tube" for free and bypass the "donation" option each and every time. It sits in my dock on my MAC desktop and I view everything on YouTube via that app and can copy videos to my download file straight away if desired.

  3. This jack ass definitely underestimated you James.

Also, he is too stupid to realize that there is an electronic fingerprint of him on that posting even though he removed it, particularly if he was stupid enough to post from his own computer. You know he is reading this blog. I think it amounts to hindering investigation in NH. I hope it does. And I hope he gets jail time for it, even if he had nothing to do with Maura disappearing. Just for being scumbag enough to do something like this.

  4. of course he is reading this blog, he posted on the blog that renner wrote about the guy that towed mauras car the night she dissapeared. his post are at the top. Beagle also posted as recently as yesterday on topix. i found one of topix comment that creeped me out for real. In 2009 he posted that "what would happen if a body was thrown in the conneticut river in the cold february". i hope the police hurriesup and goes to his house.

    1. Wow. Did he really say that back in 2009? This makes me sad, because I have long thought that the Connecticut River might be exactly where Maura ended up. Lakes and ponds would have been frozen solid when she went missing, but the Connecticut almost certainly wouldn't have been, and anyone familiar with the area would have known exactly where the open areas were. To the argument that her remains would have been found by now--not necessarily. The Connecticut flows swiftly, and there are many wee aits in it, up and down its length. In spring, these aits flood, and when the water recedes, things that have floated downstream are deposited on them. After eight spring floods, I'm not sure anything would be left of human remains left such a long time ago. Most are seldom visited, and I'm sure there is plenty of animal activity on them because of the paucity of human interference. That's where I'd have been looking, on those aits, back in the spring of 2004. I was born in Northampton and grew up just outside of Amherst; I know the Connecticut. Maura went missing very near it.

  5. I believe it is Beagle who writes the passing through town blog on blogspot , which is also where his photo came from.

  6. See, it's textbook criminal behavior to get involved with the investigation and/or revisit the scene of the crime, as well as follow press cuttings and (in the modern era) the internet. This blog is damn near ideal for that. I've been wondering for a long while weather (in case Maura's case did involve foul play, and I believe it did) the perpetrator might be "among us", reading this blog, which is as close to "infiltrating the investigation" as you can get online.
And even if this guy had nothing to do with it (I still can't make up my mind), he should be held accountable. AND hospitalized. Guilty or not, this was a stab at Maura's case, no doubt about that. Bearing that in mind, as well as the highly significant date - what kind of a SICK PERSON laughs like a maniac about it? I feel horrible, I've been feeling horrible all day and I never even knew Maura. And this dirtbag (the name is quite accurate) laughs, then suddenly stops and winks? This isn't normal behavior on any level.

  7. yup you are right. I have always been suspicious of "beagle" because of the same above reasons. it only takes to go back years on topix and see that his postings from the very beginning of her disapereance were quite worrisome. it concerns me about the ticket stub. You only keep something like that if it means SOMETHING.

    1. I agree with your last sentence completely. "You only keep something like that if it means SOMETHING" If he just posted the video you could chalk it up to a cook but the ticket puts him in the area at the right time.Generally a man in hi 50's will not keep every momento as he has experienced most things. This is something a young person or couple might do.

    2. My father in-law would keep that ticket because he is a pack-rat and hates throwing things away. (not that he is some kind of sadistic killer creep) Anyway, he once tried to sell an old moldy shower curtain at his yard sale to hold on to it as long as he could. If he didn't sell it, he would keep it - and he really didn't TRY to sell anything. Also, was that ski ticket like the type you stick to your zipper on your jacket? If it was, this person has said that he had been homeless. Perhaps he got the coat from a donation center or thrift shop (just as the wooden army box) and it had the tag on it. If he lived in that area it makes sense. Maybe he just got lucky in being able to inject himself in this case and randomly came across that ticket.

  8. "Beagle" has some seriously insane theories about Amherst researchers murdering Maura and a couple other ladies missing from the NH/MA area (http://www.topix.com/forum/city/amherst-ma/TDI8GHE3636JOUPSP). He has a whole lot of posts about this theory and it's pretty involved. He definitely seems like a bright person, but completely off his rocker. But I read some posts he has posted elsewhere and from the inquiries he makes, he doesn't seem guilty in this case at all. Yes, he could be throwing people off his scent, but I don't believe he is, and I have been following this case since week one.

    1. Ewww gads, that laughing was so creepy that even my dogs got creeped out when I played the video. The cinder block wall behind him and reflection of a TV or computer monitor in his glasses puts it over the top. Even if he had nothing to do with MM's disappearance, he is not someone I'd like to encounter.

  9. Wow. That was like something out of a horror film! What a creeper. This guy is seriously disturbed and I agree that even if he isn't directly involved in Maura's disappearance they might want to consider putting this loon away!

My deepest sympathies to the family. This was a terrible thing to do to a family that has a loved one missing. My mother committed suicide but her body was never found, but I cannot imagine the pain involved with something such as this. It is hard enough dealing with the pain, let alone this crap and some nutjob pulling your chain.

    All my best.

  10. This blog does help Maura because it is read and as anonymous says, it may bring in the guilty to read. and if so he'll trip over his own feet and fall on his gigantic big head. Maybe like me someone caught the show the other night and has been looking to see what happened after that show to see if there was more news and find this blog and some of the other material out there.
I am a blogger of a different kind and so prefer to be anonymous.

  11. Guys, this is nothing more than a pathetic "attention grabbing" fool. Since he was able to make this video and put the words "Happy Anniversary" on it, he obviously has some computer knowledge, and therefore could have easily downloaded the photo of the ski ticket of the internet somewhere. Forget him, all this attention is exactly what he is seeking..
